ABOUT MS. TOOLEY

It all started on a stormy night...just kidding.  I absolutely love spending the day with my third graders.  There is something special about third grade; kids are starting to find their independence and are really starting to learn things about themselves.

This is my third year teaching third grade, before that I was an executive assistant, implemented and trained employees on a new company computer system, and other office things.

I received my Bachelor's of science in Psychology and Sociology, from the University of Houston.  Afterwards, I received my Master's in Criminal Justice (focus in behavior analysis), from University of Cincinnati.

While studying child and adolescent behavior at both universities I found more and more that there is inequality in education.  I want kids to know that no matter where they live or what their family dynamic is, our kids can do and achieve anything they want.

Other than that, I was born and raised in Houston, TX. My husband, puppy, and I moved to the Seattle area in July and are loving every minute of it.
